It's fairly foolish to be nervous about my weigh in tomorrow. I was away for a few days, not in complete control of what I ate, in as much as how food was prepared, so a gain would not be entirely unexpected. But then, that's the wrong attitiude. Loads of people can go away and not gain weight. It's just my modus operandi to use a holiday as an excuse to be over indulgent, especially with foods that I normally try to limit. This time, I was different. I was a lot more controlled, plus we did all that walking, so I must have burnt off a fair few calories. And while I had no control over cooking, and the food was definitely a bit richer than I'd make at home, it still wasn't overly so. Therefore, I'd like to think I could still have a loss this week. Tomorrow will tell.
We got back home yesterday, early afternoon. I was very organized and did my unpacking and washing straight away. I have decided to dump a pair of black jeggings. They are too baggy in the bum. They were cheapies from ASDA, so I replaced them today. I bought a pair in black and a denim pair, both a size smaller! I think I'm going to be ruthless in my dumping of clothes as I get too small for them. I feel better in clothes that fit me properly. It feels like a pay off for losing the weight that I can look good in smaller clothing, so I'm going to go with it. I even bought some nice underwear from M & S while I was away, a nice matching set. I'm going to do that more often too.
Food yesterday was scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and haggis on toast at the airport,
then I cooked a light carbonara type thing for dinner. The day just about ended up on target. I fully intended to get up for a run this morning, but didn't bother. I will do it either tomorrow or Monday morning before work. Okay, let's be honest, it'll probably be Monday!
Brekkie today was supposed to be an omlette with low fat sauasages, onion and peppers. It ended up looking complete messs, as it broke up when I dished it up. But it tasted amazeballs :-)
